Christmas Exchanges

Do you need to return your Christmas present?  

Christmas presents purchased after November 15th, 2023 must be returned by January 31st , 2024, at the latest. We have extended the return options for Christmas presents bought after November 1, 2023. If the Christmas present needs to be exchanged, you have two choices: exchange for a gift card or return. 

Exchange for gift card or return 

Didn't get the right items or would you rather have another product? You can exchange your gift for a gift card, so you can find exactly what you want. If you want to exchange for a gift card, please write to eu-webshop@maileg.dk no later than January 31st, 2024 and provide the information below: 

  • Order number 
  • Which styles/products you want to return  
  • Which e-mail address would you like the gift card to be received at 

If the order number is not enclosed with the Christmas gift, or you do not know the order number, please contact us at eu-webshop@maileg.dk 

If you want to return your order you need to fill out the Return form at the bottom below.

Complaints 

All complaints should also be filled out by clicking on the return form below. 

OBS. This is only for items bought on the website. If you have bought an item at one of our retailers, please reach out to them first.  

 

DELIVERY

We use DHL for the delivery and return of packages.

  • We charge a specific fee par market, and per package regardless of weight, with free shipping on orders over 55 euro. The cost of delivery will be specified in the checkout.
  • We only deliver within the European Union.
  • You will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your shipment is on its way.
  • If your order consists of a dollhouse as well as additional items, two separate packages will be sent since the dollhouse cannot be packed with other items. Freight will be charged twice.
  • You will receive your delivery within the number of working days stated in the checkout. The specified delivery time is indicative, and delays may occasionally occur.

RETURNS

If you wish to return the received goods, you must fill out our return form and await our feedback.

Information regarding returns:

I regret my purchase

You have the right to return within 14 days of receiving the item.

  1. Fill out our return form and await a response.
  2. We offer you a full refund for the returned goods.

However, we do not refund your original shipping costs if the reason for the return is that you regret the purchase. If the item, on the other hand, is defective upon receipt, we will of course also refund the shipping costs.

  • Returned goods must be new and unused, and in the same condition as when you received them. If we cannot approve the returned item, we cannot refund your purchase. In that case, you will receive an email with a description of the reason for the lack of refund.
  • It is the buyer's responsibility to return the goods safely.
  • There is no compensation for returned goods that are lost in transit. We can only be held responsible for the goods once we have received them.
  • The refund will be processed using the same payment method that you used for the original purchase.

The goods were defective upon receipt / incorrect item delivered

  • If you receive a defective item, we ask you to immediately fill out the return form and await our feedback. Send us pictures of the defective item.
  • If you have received an incorrect item, we also ask you to fill out the return form and await our response.
  • In the above two cases, we refund the entire amount including the shipping costs for the return.
  • It is the buyer's responsibility to return the goods safely.
  • There is no compensation for returned goods that are lost in transit. We can only be held responsible for the goods once we have received them.
  • The refund will be processed using the same payment method that you used for the original purchase.

It is important that you send us the order confirmation you received when you purchased the goods along with the return form.

  • Once we have received and confirmed the returned goods, the compensation will be completed using the same payment method that you used for the original purchase. Please note that it can take up to 3 days until the return is processed. Once we have received and processed your return, you will receive an email from us.
