Candle holder, Medium reindeer

I ordered the reindeer in all 3 sizes thinking they were a matched set. Be aware that all three are different colors, and the small one is not a candleholder. I also assumed that the medium and large sizes would hold the same size candle, but it turned out that the width of the large candleholder is greater than the medium one. The medium reindeer holds a 5" European- sized tree candle but the large reindeer takes a traditional American width taper. I will use an 8" candle rather than a 12" which may not be safe given the light weight of the candleholders. I probably won't even light them at all. With that being said, the reindeers are very beautiful and appealing. I now wish none of them were candleholders.
